Simple Syrup

Sugar dissolved at a ratio of 1:1 in water; makes an excellent sweetener for all kinds of cocktails.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  • In a small pot over medium heat, add sugar and water. Stir until dissolved.
  • Remove from heat. Cool, then store in a container with a lid in the refrigerator. Can be kept in the fridge for up to a month.

Keeps in the refrigerator for up to one month.
