Easy Greek Salad
Fresh and tangy Greek Salad makes the most of crispy cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, and savoury olives, and is super easy to toss together!
Greek salad is even better when you make your own Greek dressing! It takes less than 5 minutes to mix together, and you can serve up the freshest and most flavourful salad.
In my version of this classic Greek salad, I like to make it without feta. You can absolutely add feta if you like it!
How long does Greek Salad take to make?
As long as it takes you to chop the vegetables, you could have this salad ready to eat in about 10 minutes — and that includes the time it takes to make the dressing!
Let’s talk about the ingredients for Greek Salad
Grape tomatoes – Crispy and sweet, grape tomatoes are my favourite tomato for making Greek salad. You can also use cherry tomatoes, or any firm garden tomato.
Mini cucumbers – I like these crunchy cucumbers best! Their small size makes it easy to chop them up in a snap.
Black olives – I usually get pitted Kalamata olives from the deli section of my grocery store. I always cut them in half, mostly to ensure there are no surprise hidden pits! The olives add a salty, savoury tang.
Red onion – Not only do red onions bring a zesty heat to the salad, but their bright colour makes this salad shine.
Feta – Salty and briny, crumbled feta is totally optional in this Greek salad recipe. Use as much as you like!
The Greek Salad Method
First, make your Greek dressing, using this recipe. It’s easy and quick to mix together!
Chop all your vegetables, and toss with the dressing. If you’re using feta, add it last by sprinkling on top. And that’s it! In about 10 minutes, you can have a ready-to-eat, fresh, and delicious Greek salad.
