  • Hang to dry naturally
  • Use a dehydrator
  • Use a very low oven temperature (the lowest setting for your oven)
  • Use a microwave (this is the method I use!)

Ingredients

To make approximately 1/4 cup of Italian Seasoning (see note):

  • 1 Tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 Tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 Tablespoon oregano
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons thyme
  • 1.5 teaspoons rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram

To make approximately 1 Tablespoon of Italian Seasoning (see note):

  • ¾ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon dried basil
  • ¾ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • ½ teaspoon rosemary
  • ¼ teaspoon marjoram

Instructions

To make about a ¼ cup of Italian Seasoning:

  • Measure and add all ingredients in the ¼ cup section into a small bowl. Stir with a whisk until completely blended. Store in a container with a tight-fitting lid. See article above about how to use Italian Seasoning.

To make about 1 Tablespoon of Italian Seasoning:

  • Measure and add all ingredients in the 1 Tablespoon section into a small bowl. Stir with a whisk until completely blended. Store in a container with a tight-fitting lid, or use immediately in your recipe.

Notes

This recipe makes slightly more than 1/4 cup and slightly more than 1 tablespoon; this should not make any difference when used in your recipes!
